Anthony Davis is back in Lexington...Kinda.
A local barbershop in Lexington put up a mural of Anthony Davis so that he will always remain a part of the town community.
Had to take @AntDavis23 past Royce Pulliam’s new barbershop, @Floyds99, to show him this. Glad I got to spend time yesterday with Anthony, his friends and his family, including his newborn, Nala, and her mother, Marlen. pic.twitter.com/mFWejciymZ— John Calipari (@UKCoachCalipari) June 15, 2018
Davis is one of the best players to have played for the University of Kentucky
In his only season at Kentucky won AP player of the year averaging a double-double with 14.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. He also led UK to the 2012 NCAA championship while being named Final Four most outstanding player.
Davis has now become an MVP candidate
If warriors get Anthony Davis ill burn oracle down myself https://t.co/KgNquXsZlA— Don Nowitzki (@danny_started) June 11, 2018
Needless to say, Davis is an extremely important part of Kentucky basketball history, and this mural is an awesome way to thank him for his time in Lexington.
Also, that unibrow looks fantastic on the side of a building.
