Apparently, the Fornite fad has even infiltrated the lives of NBA players...

Lakers guard Josh Hart appeared at an E3 Fornite event with free agent Paul George, who was participating in a Fortnite tournament with a few other NBA stars such as Andre Drummond, Kenneth Faried, Terrence Ross, and Reggie Jackson. Hart is a apparently a die-hard Fortnite fan, so it's no surprise that he was at the event as well.

Hart managed to publicize their encounter on Instagram while casually throwing up the LA symbol in the photo. He even captioned the picture "LA" with the eyes emoji. We know what that means...

Hart even posted a spontaneous Snapchat story of George. He really is pulling out all of the stops in courting George as a friend and possible teammate.

This interaction could mean as little as two basketball players who share a hobby off of the court. While this is most likely people freaking out over something silly, the Lakers have always been a rumored destination for George, so posts like this only increase the speculation.

Who knows, maybe this all was a set up by the Lakers to send Hart to bond with George in order to give him reason to come to LA. Or maybe not.
