The Cubs had an extra-innings win over the Brewers Monday sparked by a five-run 11th inning.
Baez helped the late rally with a walk and stolen base. His contributions have helped him get atop the All-Star voting after the first ballot dropped on Monday.
Javy Baez is now tied for 13th in MLB with 10 stolen bases. Pretty cool new part of his game. Turns out, when you get on base more, you can steal more. Someone should tell Billy Hamilton.— Michael Cerami (@Michael_Cerami) June 12, 2018
Baez and the Cubs have had plenty of reasons to dance lately. After a rough start to the season, Chicago has been on a tear of late, winners of eight of their last 10 and 11 of their last 15. They've also won their last two extra-innings games.
They've catapulted themselves over the rival Brewers for first place in the NL Central and the best record in the entire National League.
From the looks of it, Baez will be doing plenty of dancing from here on out.
