The Pro Football Hall of Fame might be the Mount Olympus of American football. Being selected to have a bust in Canton is one of the biggest honors any great NFL player or executive could receive.
And yet, Terrell Owens does not appear to be too in love with Canton. In a statement made public by T.O., the Hall of Fame wide receiver announced he would not be present for his induction.

"After visiting Canton earlier this year, I came to the realization that I wish to celebrate what will be one of the most memorable days of my life, elsewhere," explained Owens in the statement.
It remains unclear what exactly deterred Owens away from Canton at the moment, but with how outspoken a figure Owens is the reasoning is sure to become public knowledge in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Owens is in the midst of trying to make an NFL comeback, making comments toward the 49ers and the Chiefs that he could be of service to them. No Hall of Famer has ever taken the field as a player, and this would truly be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for football fans around the world.
