The Chicago Cubs sure know how to pick the ​interesting ones. ​


They selected Brennen Davis with their second-round pick, the 62nd overall in the MLB Draft. Davis is a soon-to-be 19-year-old outfielder committed to the University of Miami. This Arizona native has a unique feature to him that all the other draftees don't: 


He takes care of his own pet llamas and goat.

​​Davis takes his job as caretaker very seriously, saying taking care of his pets teaches him, "hard work and dedication."


The goat's name is Grey and the Llama's names are Marco and Pollo... because, obviously.


Davis will most definitely be embraced by Cubs fans with open arms considering he's everything the team already is: fun, hopeful and refreshing. The 6-foot-4 outfielder brings an unusual yet exciting experience to Chicago baseball and has clearly demonstrated he's a man of commitment -- just through his farm animals alone.

He's already making ​fans and he hasn't even signed his contract yet. 


Davis still has a decision between the University of Miami and the Chicago Cubs, but the Cubs spring training Complex is only about 10 minutes away from Davis' home in Arizona, which means he can commute and take care of his beloved Grey, Marco and Pollo. 


It's a no brainer.
