Despite having one of the best defenses in college football and going 12-0 in the regular season, the Wisconsin Badgers came up just short of the Big Ten championship in 2017. However, they did lead the conference in several other categories, including a rather notable one that had nothing to do with what went on between the lines:

Yes, Wisconsin saw 167 fan ejections at football games last season, 26 more than any other school in the conference. They also led the Big Ten with 137 total arrests in the seven games they played in Madison.

But can you really blame these fans? It must have been exhausting watching Alex Hornbook underachieve week after week despite the team playing generally solid football throughout the year.

At least they finished No. 1 in something.
