Tired of this guy yet, America? Too bad! LaVar Ball is back in the news for all the wrong reasons.
While most of us hear nails on a chalkboard at the mere mention of this man's name, some are willing to enter his new professional basketball league, the JBA. The idea behind the JBA is actually quite clever, allowing college-age players an alternative to play professionally, rather than attend classes they have no interest in. The man running it, however, has no business sense. This we know all too well.
The league features a few prominent high schoolers, although none of the players are in the top-100 per recruiting rankings. Nonetheless, the games must go on. But if you'd like to attend, it's going to cost you a pretty penny.
The ticket prices for LaVar Ball's JBA league are unreasonably expensive https://t.co/ozTCbmuo4H— For The Win (@ForTheWin) May 21, 2018
Only small ballers complain about ticket prices.
The low-priced tickets can run anywhere from $35 to $40, while top-tier ones can run you up to $100. And no, these won't be played at Madison Square Garden.
Considering LaVar charges over $500 for sneakers, this shouldn't really come as a surprise. Yet, surely, the public will eat this up. Enjoy your overpriced pick-up games, I'll be at Rucker Park.
