Two days ago, the Arizona Cardinals traded for former Cleveland Browns cornerback Jamar Taylor.
Today, in order to make room for Taylor on the roster, the team has decided to release Marcus Williams.

Williams, 28, went undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft and joined the Houston Texans that offseason.
He was then released before the season and spent three season with the New York Jets. During that time, he played in 39 games (with 15 starts) and had eight interceptions, including six during the 2015 season.
He spent half of last season with the Jets and the other half with the Texans, recording only one interception.
Williams signed with the Cardinals on April 19 and looked to be in the mix for one of the corner spots on the roster.
For Williams, though, it means he's out of a job and must look to find a new home.
