The L.A. Rams have added another player to their already stacked defensive line: tackle Chunky Clements.

Clements, 23, originally came out of Illinois as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings, but was waived before the start of the regular season.

He ended up signing with the Houston Texans, bouncing back and forth from the practice squad to the active roster. He was ultimately released on March 21.

Clements had a solid career at Illinois, recording 99 tackles, six sacks and forcing three fumbles.

The 6-2, 295-pound lineman will look to provide depth at the position already stacked with Pro-Bowler Aaron Donald and recently acquired Ndamukong Suh.

He'll be competing with the likes of Dominique Easley and Michael Brockers for one of the backup spots.

L.A.'s first day of OTAs is set for Monday.
