With rookie minicamp already wrapped up and offseason programs underway, many NFL teams are signing their prospects from their draft class.

For the Seahawks, their offseason was filled with departures, which included releasing Richard Sherman, trading Michael Bennett, and letting Jimmy Graham find a new home in free agency. As for additions in Seattle, the biggest move on offense comes in the form of Rashaad Penny, who was selected No. 27 overall.

Luckily for Seattle's management and Russell Wilson, Penny signed his rookie contract today.

Despite many criticisms over the pick, the former San Diego State superstar absolutely dominated his opponents in his final collegiate campaign. His senior season ended with over 2,000 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns, topping most running backs in the NCAA.

As for Seattle's draft class, the Seahawks have now signed six of their nine selections after locking up Penny this afternoon.

It's going to be a new-look Seahawks team in September, but Rashaad Penny might bring their ground game back to life.
