The Browns are doing it big.

After taking Baker Mayfield with the No. 1 overall pick, Cleveland now had to decide what they'd do with the No. 4 pick after the Giants took Saquon Barkley and the Jets selected Sam Darnold.

The Browns went defense, specifically bolstering their secondary.

Denzel Ward dominated at Ohio State this past season and is regarded as the best press corner in the draft. Was it the right selection at No. 4? Many pundits don't seem to think so, especially with Bradley Chubb still available, as well as the possibility of trading down, but the Browns had a plan and they're sticking with it.

They added to their secondary last year when they took Jabrill Peppers in the first round, so hopefully Ward can help out that cause.

The Browns need all the secondary help they can get, especially with the Pittsburgh Steelers in their division.

We'll see how this pick pans out for them.
