One of the most underrated players on the team is staying put!
Anthony Chickillo has quietly been a great addition to this Steelers team since they drafted him with a sixth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He plays a big role on special teams, and is a reliable depth player as well.
Fortunately, he knows his role in Pittsburgh is important, and has decided to stick around with the Steelers for another season, signing his restricted free agent tender to remain with the team.

Had Chickillo agreed to a deal elsewhere, the team would have had the right to match. If they chose not to, they would have received a sixth-round pick in the future.
Chickillo put together an impressive season in 2017, racking up 19 tackles and three sacks off the bench for the team. He was definitely one of their most underrated players.
Unappreciated Steelers players this year…huge shoutouts to, Roosevelt Nix, David DeCastro, Mike Hilton, Anthony Chickillo & Chris Boswell.— SteelersKillerB (@SteelersKillerB) October 24, 2017
Fans should be happy to see him sticking around.
