Is it football season yet?
No it's not, but it looks like we have our opening matchup of the season, and there's a lot of intrigue to this game.
Remember how dominant the Eagles were in the NFC Championship game? Time for the Vikings, now with Kirk Cousins as QB1, to get some revenge.
According to insider Howard Eskin, the Philadelphia Eagles will host the Minnesota Vikings on the opening night of the NFL season, which will take place Thursday, Sept. 6.
Again, this will be a rematch of last year's NFC Championship game, in which the Eagles steamrolled the Vikings 38-7.
This game will also be Cousins' regular-season Vikings debut.
Lincoln Financial Field will be rocking during this game, as fans get to see their Eagles play for the first time since they took down the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.
What an awesome matchup for the first game of the season, with a lot of storylines and a game featuring what's expected to be two of the best teams in the NFL in 2018.
But, we have a long summer ahead of us before football season starts.
