March Madness is in full swing!
No. 11 seed Loyola-Chicago took down No. 6 Miami at the last second. And just in case you missed it, we have the highlight.
The score was 62-61 Miami with just 9.3 seconds left to go in the game. Lonnie Walker was heading to the line to extend the Canes' lead. Walker missed his first shot of the 1-and-1, and Loyola-Chicago grabbed the rebound and began marching their way up the floor.
Marques Towns dribbled the ball up to the three-point line but was met by a defender. He found an open man in Donte Ingram. The rest is history.
Ingram took the shot from the edge of the March Madness logo and drained it with ease!
The deep three by Ingram is what propelled his team to the first major upset this tournament. Loyola-Chicago was one of the most popular upset picks, so maybe it wasn't much of a bracket buster. Yet, we can appreciate the semantics of it all.
Nevertheless, college basketball fans cannot be disappointed. This is the beauty of March.
