Jacksonville let wide receiver Allen Robinson walk out the door and head north to Chicago where he is expected to suit up for the Bears next season.
But the Jaguars can't let another wide receiver walk out the door, so they are giving Marqise Lee an offer that will be tough to refuse and will keep him from testing the free agent market.
Jaguars are giving WR Marqise Lee a four-year deal with a max value of $38 million, including $18M guaranteed, per source.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 13, 2018
Lee was Bortles favorite target in 2017, leading all receivers with 56 catches for over 700 yards and three touchdowns.

The Jags originally drafted the University of Southern California Trojans product in the 2014 NFL draft. After a few years of learning the NFL style of play and struggling to stay healthy, Lee enjoyed a breakout year in 2016, catching 63 passes for 851 yards and three touchdowns.
If the Jaguars intend to make it all the way back to the AFC Conference Championship in 2018, then they will need Lee fully healthy and productive. Smart move for the Jags.
