The Green Bay Packers had an underwhelming season last year. After losing Aaron Rodgers for a majority of the season, they finished at an underwhelming 7-9.
One of the biggest problems with their team was the back end of their defense. Their secondary was 23rd in the NFL in yards allowed, and 29th in passing touchdowns allowed.
After trading Demarious Randall to Cleveland yesterday, the Packers really need to reinforce their secondary.
Now that Richard Sherman signed with the 49ers, I have to believe the Oakland Raiders are now in business for Trumaine Johnson as are the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys..— Tony Pauline (@TonyPauline) March 11, 2018
Green Bay fans seem to really like the idea of a Johnson addition to the roster:
Here’s the start of my blue print to rebuild the D: Trumaine Johnson and Tramon Williams added in FA. Edge rusher (Landry/Davenport) drafted at 14, then trade back into late 1st to take another CB that falls, in a deep class.
