If you are the New York Yankees, you have to be happy with how this offseason and Spring Training have been playing out.

Other than Shohei Ohtani, Yu Darvish and Gerrit Cole, just about everything has been positive news. They traded for Giancarlo Stanton and Brandon Drury, re-signed C.C. Sabathia, and now they have renewed Gary Sanchez's contract for next to nothing.

Sanchez is one of the best hitting catchers in the game and he will likely be the last stop in the Yankees modern day murderers' row.

For just over $620,000, Sanchez is coming at an incredible rate.

El Gary saw a serious spike in his power numbers last season, which only make opposing pitchers struggle to get through the heart of the Yankees lineup even more.

He's under team control until 2019 and will hit his first round of arbitration in 2020, where his salary will surely spike into the millions.
