ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay's latest mock draft should have Browns fans salivating over their QB of the future.
McShay has Cleveland selecting former USC quarterback Sam Darnold with the first overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft. ESPN's insider has maintained his belief that Darnold will ultimately be the first pick in April's draft; however, he also caveats by explaining that the team could choose between him and former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley.

"If Cleveland addresses its quarterback situation in free agency (A.J. McCarron?), then i think Barkley is the pick here," McShay writes.
Another possibility, according to McShay, for the Browns' top pick, is former Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen, who he currently speculates will go sixth overall to the New York Jets.
Cleveland also owns the fourth overall pick, which McShay speculates they'll use on Minkah Fitzpatrick, who starred at DB for the Alabama Crimson Tide this past season.
New Browns GM John Dorsey obviously has his work cut out for him, but odds are he'll take whichever signal-caller the team determines to be their man, then take the best available talent with the other selection.
