With all of the great things that Baker Mayfield has done in his college career, there are still plenty of people that have doubts about the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback.
A potential first-round pick in April's NFL Draft, Mayfield interviewed with a number of teams over the weekend, who wanted to get a glimpse of his polarizing personality.
One NFL head coach seemed not to like Mayfield's personality, saying he was "over-the-top cocky."
Mayfield knows he has that reputation in the eyes of some people, but doesn't feel it reflects who he is. "I don't think I'm cocky," Mayfield said at the combine. "It's not cocky. It's just confident."
He's had instances in his college career where he had to apologize for a number of gestures, and an opponent even told him he needed to be humbled, after his Rose Bowl loss this season.
Teams will key in on Mayfield's attitude up until the day of the draft. Some like it, and some don't. But the way Baker is, it looks like he'll use that as motivation for whatever team he goes to.
