The Browns need a starting quarterback. Desperately.
Old news? Nothing new?
Yeah, I completely get that, but until the front office makes a move to rid the franchise and city of extended suffering, it'll continue to be brought up.
This offseason, though, there are multiple targets Cleveland has its eyes on. While fans are hoping free agent Kirk Cousins arrives to save the day, it appears Hue Jackson has another player he wants to run his offense: A.J. McCarron.

Per SI's Peter King, Jackson wants the former Bengals backup to be QB1 for the Browns moving forward.
It would make sense the Browns, who have passed on multiple franchise QBs the last two years, would be interested in A.J. McCarron, and then worry about drafting a young QB whenever. https://t.co/2ghl3VJGKm— Geoff Schwartz (@geoffschwartz) March 5, 2018
