There's something brewing in Cleveland.
The Cavs look totally different then they did at the start of last month thanks to a wild trade deadline that saw them deal half their roster away to acquire the likes of Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr., George Hill, and Rodney Hood.
Amidst all of these trades, of course, J.R. Smith stuck around. While he's looking to do his part to help lead Cleveland back to the NBA Finals, he might be a bit more trouble than he's worth at the moment. He's been suspended one game for "detrimental conduct."
The Cavs took to Twitter to announce the decision, although they did not go into detail exactly what he did to merit the brief ban.
Smith will serve the suspension tonight in the Cavs' home matchup with the 76ers, which certainly makes the contest even more interesting.
Stay tuned for updates on J.R.'s status. Don't act like you aren't curious about what he did to earn the suspension.
