North Carolina is gearing up for another deep run in the NCAA Tournament, as they look to repeat as national champions and make their third NCAA championship game in as many years.

Unfortunately, it sounds like they'll be doing so without one of their top young players. 

Freshman guard Jalek Felton has withdrawn from the university. ​

​​The above Tweet was sent by his lawyer, who has been representing him since the school suspended him for an undisclosed issue earlier last month. 

Felton has been out of commission since UNC suspended him for a situation that they were "gathering information on," and no update has been provided since.
