The Los Angeles Rams got an immediate impact player by acquiring the 25-year-old All-Pro corner Marcus Peters, already bolstering their impressive defensive unit that ranked in the top tier of the league in 2017.
As for the Chiefs, well, they are full-steam ahead with their strategy to rebuild and reshape a team that can't seem to get over that postseason hump they have hit during head coach Andy Reid's tenure.
Could the return provide the necessary piece to the puzzle to get them to that next level? We may have to wait a couple of years to find out, but it sure looks like the Rams came out on top of this deal.

Chiefs trade CB Marcus Peters and 2018 sixth-round pick to LA for 2019 second-round pick and 2018 fourth-round pick, per league sources.
It's a move that will have many Kansas City fans scratching their heads, but it's clear GM Brett Veach believes he can win with new addition Kendall Fuller manning the edge while defensive captain Eric Berry makes his return.
Let's hope these picks turn out to be solid players, or else the franchise will regret this move for a long, long time.
