The Secretary of Defense is not here for this lunacy.
Tom Brady may not be the reigning Super Bowl MVP, as Nick Foles stole that honor away with his amazing performance to deliver the Eagles their first-ever championship, but some think he's still the GOAT.
Five Super Bowl rings, four Super Bowl MVPs, three NFL MVPs... its hard to argue that he's not the one of the greatest ever to do it, if not the all-time best. But Redskins legend Dexter Manley is not here for that kind of talk.
Manley, the "Secretary of Defense," shot down the argument that Tom Brady was the best QB ever during an appearance on NBC Sports Washington to discuss his Redskins. To be fair, Brady certainly isn't the best in terms of athleticism, as there have been a ton of players who are much more physically gifted.
Manley played for Washington from 1981-1989, helping lead the team to two Super Bowl victories, so it's safe to say he knows what he's talking about when it comes to putting up numbers and winning games.
Hey, when the Secretary of Defense doesn't think you deserve the title, who are you to argue that he's wrong?
