The Buffalo Bills could be eyeing a massive move in the upcoming draft.
Last year, Buffalo traded way down in the first-round, sending their top-10 pick to the Kansas City Chiefs to allow them to select Pat Mahomes at No. 10. Now, the Bills hold the No. 21 and 22 picks in this Draft, and some believe they may be looking to ship them to move up.
According to reports, the Bills have their eyes set on one specific QB in this draft, and that's UCLA product Josh Rosen.
from @EricGalko of Optimum Scouting: Bills were aggresssively scouting the top college qb's this season. people aorund NFL telling him Bills are high on Josh Rosen. says he is "the apple of their eye"— Howard WGR (@hsimon62) February 14, 2018
Sources throughout the league believe that Rosen is at the top of the Bills wish list, which would mean they would have to trade up into the top-five to somehow get to the esteemed QB.
.@OptimumScouting floats the idea of the #Giants trading the No. 2 pick to the #Bills who love Josh Rosen. If #nyg is to do this, here's the trade I think the Giants should seek. I believe they should then target drafting Lamar Jackson. #GiantsPride— Dan Schneier (@DanSchneierNFL) February 15, 2018
The biggest report on the market right now is that the Bills are eying a trade up with the Giants to secure Rosen, which would be an undeniable blockbuster.
New York currently sits with the No. 2 pick in the draft, meaning they could get some serious assets by trading back. With Eli Manning coming back for another go around under Pat Shurmur, the team could stash a QB later in the draft and go for immediate help now.
It's going to take some serious negotiation, but this could be the trade of the draft.
