Frank Kaminsky's NBA career hasn't nearly mirrored his production in college, but that won't stop the Wisconsin Badgers from honoring their former superstar.

In an awesome gesture, Wisconsin raised Kaminsky's No.44 into the rafters after he put together a phenomenal four-year career.

Retiring Kaminsky's number this early in his career might seem premature, but he was crucial in helping the team reach back-to-back Final Fours.

Well, he clearly felt the love tonight, as Badger fans received a towel with Kaminsky's number on it and waited for him to speak to the crowd just before the game against No. 6 Purdue.

On this glorious night, the Badgers completed a massive upset of their Big Ten rival, making Kaminsky proud.

If you want to understand the magnitude of this ceremony, it should be known that only ONE other player has had his jersey number retired in the Kohl Center.

Between winning Big Ten Player of the Year and the John R. Wooden Award, Kaminsky might go down as one of the more underrated players in college basketball history.

He definitely deserved this moment. Kaminsky will never forget this night.
