It's not March yet but College Basketball is in full swing! Top-5 teams are dropping like flies and underdogs are pulling off insane upsets. It's everything you'd want in a college basketball season.

Tonight, Virginia Tech took down the No. 2 ranked University of Virginia Cavaliers. The Hokies narrowly edged UVA by one single point in overtime. It was a thriller.

The game was in favor of the Hokies for the entire first half. They built up a commanding 12 point lead, but saw that advantage diminish in the second half.

After halftime, the game was a battle. The teams traded off baskets and played great defense. UVA was down 2 points with just 12 seconds left on the clock, and they nailed a shot to send it to OT.

In OT, the flow of the game was similar to in the second half.

Down by 1 with just 10 seconds left, the Hokies drove down the court, missed a layup, got the board, and put it back to take the lead. Cue the Titanic music.

This was an insane game and a huge shocker for VT. In the end though, they hung with one of the best teams in the country and hit their baskets when it counted.

Boy oh boy March Madness can't come soon enough.
