Life is pretty sweet right now for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. He has absolutely killed it as a starter for the team, going 5-0.
Now, Jimmy G has been repaid for his services, in a BIG way.

So, what does this mean for the NFL? It means that many quarterbacks will be using this deal as the base of their negotiations.
At the same time, don't expect any crash trade to come down the road, either.
Garoppolo deal has no-trade clause in 4th year of deal. Smart move by agent. If he's cut after:— Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) February 9, 2018

Not bad for a guy who has only started in seven games in the NFL, right?
