We were well aware just about every other city and fan base has been taking shots at Tom Brady. Just about everyone except New England Patriots fans are sick of seeing him in the Super Bowl.
But now, Boston has gotten under his skin for one of the most absurd reasons ever, and it's certainly not a good look for the city less than a week before the Super Bowl.
Brady left his weekly appearance on WEEI early on Monday after learning some troubling news.
Tom Brady cuts his weekly interview short on WEEI, saying he was disappointed to hear of news that host Alex Reimer made a disparaging remark about his daughter when discussing the "Tom vs. Time" documentary. Brady said he is evaluating if he wants to be on the show again.— Mike Reiss (@MikeReiss) January 29, 2018
Insulting his five-year-old daughter? Come on dude. WEEI host Alex Reimer called Brady's daughter "an annoying little pissant." Totally uncalled for.
It'd be understandable if this was from another fan base or your average Brady/Patriots haters, but it's pretty jarring coming from a Boston radio host, especially with how the media knows how Brady handles critical/disparaging coverage and comments.

Can't blame Brady if he chooses not to come on that show anymore.
Reimer deserves a punch to the face from any father if it was told about his daughter. Completely rude and unprofessional https://t.co/CwGXZ8aNic
Here's what Brady had to say before he left the show:
"I've tried to come on this show for many years and showed you guys a lot of respect. I've always tried and come on and do a good job for you guys. It's very disappointing when you hear [the comments about my daughter], certainly. My daughter, or any child, certainly don't deserve that."
WEEI might now go out of business. Totally uncalled for
