It seems like forever ago when we used to know Jemele Hill as the personality on the show Numbers Never Lie. She's had a pretty fast track career from that show all the way to the 6 p.m. slot on SportsCenter.

Her stint as an anchor was short, but still had some controversy. She had a controversial remark when she called President Trump a "white supremacist". A few weeks later she went on a twitter rant over Jerry Jones. She was suspended after these statements.

"Jerry Jones also has created a problem for his players, specifically the black ones. If they don't kneel, some will see them as sellouts."

She has now released a statement regarding her decision to leave SportsCenter.

"And while I am amused by the rumors that I was demoted, kicked off the 6pm SportsCenter or whatever else can be conjured, the truth is pretty simple and not nearly as dramatic."

Hill didn't hold back in releasing her statement, letting the world know she chose to leave her post.

We'll see who ESPN decides to replace her with.
