Having confidence as a young player in the MLB is a good thing. However, when you start claiming that you'll be better than the guys who have already proven themselves in the league over and over again, that's a problem.

Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras claimed that he's going to be better than Yadier Molina and Buster Posey, which is the right attitude, but the wrong verbalization, if you know what we mean.

Settle down there, Contreras. You've only been in the league for two seasons, and still have a long way to even have your name in consideration with those guys.

His comments obviously didn't sit well with Yadier Molina, and Molina posted some strong comments on his instagram page aimed directly at his division rival, including Posey along with Salvador Perez for good measure.

"Respect the ranks, rookies. Here with those who have proven to be the best," Molina says in his Instagram post.

There's no doubt that Contreras will be a good player in the league. He's only 25 years old, and has a career batting average of .278. He also hit 21 home runs for the Cubs last season, and, well, isn't a rookie, so that was a bit of a dig from Yadi, too.

But already saying that you're better than some of the best catchers in the game who've been here for a decade? That's a bit ridiculous.
