ESPN hasn't had the greatest couple of months, to say the least. However, it looks like the network is bringing in the big guns to help turn their ratings around.
And by big guns, we mean none other than one of the most popular basketball players of all time, Kobe Bryant. Reports have surfaced today that the NBA legend and network have agreed to create a new program just in time for the second half of the NBA season:
Kobe Bryant to write, produce and host basketball analysis show on ESPN: "Detail"https://t.co/lfsEP8DhGZ— Sportando (@Sportando) January 12, 2018
Kobe will truly be the ringleader for Detail, spearheading almost every role that comes with creating a television show.
He's even taken on the role as advertiser, dropping a teaser about the show's upcoming March premiere on his Twitter account:
There's literally nobody better suited to teach the masses about how the pros work their magic than Bryant, who was notorious for the amount of time and effort he spent analyzing his competition and his own play in order to continuously adapt to challenges in the league.
We can't wait to see what he has to offer throughout the series.
