In the NBA, the time between an "Oh my God!" and an "oh God.." can be instantaneous.
Look no further than this Earth shattering dunk from DeAndre Jordan, who just moments later had everyone fearing that he had shattered something else.

Skal Labissiere took the most damage from that dunk, being pushed out of bounds by Jordan. All George Hill could do was watch in horror as Jordan dropped the hammer.
Then, unfortunately: Oh God.
Jordan landed awkwardly on his ankle following the dunk and wound up on the floor. He ended up spraining his ankle, which gave him an early trip to the locker room.

Unfortunately, he will not be returning to action.

WILL NOT RETURN: DeAndre Jordan (left ankle sprain) 🤦🏽♂️
This is NOT what the Clippers need at the moment, especially after they've found their groove, and Blake Griffin is back from his concussion.
Best wishes to Jordan.
