The Jaguars are moving on to Pittsburgh thanks to a tough game against a resilient Buffalo Bills squad. Blake Bortles struggled to throw the ball until it mattered most, and kept his team ahead of the field with impressive legwork.
They say that pictures are worth a thousand words, and these five surely work in unison to paint the story of this one.
5. Blake Bortles Finds Ben Koyack for the Game's Only TD
The only score of the game came on a Blake Bortles toss to Ben Koyack on 4th and Goal, and that proved to be the difference in this one.
And Koyack's enthusiasm clearly won the day here, knowing he just nabbed his first TD of the year in incredible fashion.
4. LeSean McCoy Bottled Up by Jaguars Stellar D
Many doubted McCoy was going to be able to play with his nasty ankle injury, but he overcame the pain to suit up in this one. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to get much going, as the stout Jags defense bottled him up all game.
3. Blake Bortles Was the Leading Rusher
Blake Bortles made some history, actually running for more yards (88) than he passed for (87). He actually outran both LeSean McCoy AND Leonard Fournette, and made his rushes count. It was just that kind of day.
2. Tyrod Taylor Suffers Scary Injury
Taylor left the game with obvious concussion-like symptoms after absorbing a brutal hit from Jags defender Dante Fowler and having his head bounce off the turf. Nathan Peterman entered the game in the final minutes, and threw a pick to end the game.
1. Jalen Ramsey Makes Questionable Game-Winning INT
Speaking of, Ramsey won the game with his diving, yet controversial interception. The ball clearly moved as he hit the ground, but the refs let the call stand. Right move? We'll let you decide on that.
