Miles Boykin of Notre Dame just made the catch of the year in college football.

The catch itself is impressive enough, but the aftermath makes this the play of the year. Boykin makes the grab, and then proceeds to split two falling defenders and score an important touchdown.

The Fighting Irish are guilty of playing on the QB carousel, as Brian Kelly is always prone to do in big games for reasons we don't quite understand.

Still, it's working in their favor thus far.

Boykin's grab might be the defining moment of Notre Dame's season, and a year that started out with high expectations could get an appropriate ending.
