Remember when the Baltimore Orioles weren't impressed with the offers they were receiving on Manny Machado and if they didn't improve by a certain date they would take him off the market?
Well, that was a lie.
According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the Orioles are continuing to field offers for Machado, as there are multiple teams interested, and this time around they don't have a deadline on their negotiations.
Machado will become a free agent after the 2018 season and is set to receive record deal along with Bryce Harper. So for the Orioles, it's imperative they move him and begin to rebuild with the young talent they'd get in a blockbuster deal involving their All-Star third baseman.

A deal hasn't come close to fruition, but he's garnered serious interest from the Cubs, Cardinals, Yankees, Phillies and White Sox over the past month. These are clubs that have deep farm systems, or in the case of the Cubs, have young talent already in the major leagues.
Stay tuned. This Machado saga continues.
