There are some new revelations regarding the Giancarlo Stanton trade rumors.

He's reportedly now been in contract with the Marlins front office about the potential move.

According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, Stanton representatives have given the Marlins a list of teams he would accept a trade to. Among the teams listed are the reigning National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

Stanton hasn't rejected a trade just yet, but there seems to be a belief among other organizations that the Marlins slugger will be reluctant to accept a deal to another team until there's clarity with the Dodgers.

The 28-year-old is from California and has made it known that he'd love to play on the West Coast. The Dodgers are certainly capable of swinging a deal when you consider their ability to take on huge salaries and all the young talent they possess throughout their organization.

At this point in time, however, the Dodgers don't seem to be interested in acquiring Stanton, but that could quickly change now that they know he'd waive his no-trade clause to play there.
