3 Bold Predictions for the Patriots in Week 11

It's been a tough year to predict, but at least the Patriots have regained their normal dominance in the AFC East. They're atop the division, and now have a clash against a Raiders team that is still trying to catch up to their expectations. For this battle down in Mexico City, it's not going to be one Oakland is going to want to remember.

Here are three bold predictions for the Patriots during their Week 11 bout against the Raiders.

3. Martellus Bennett Will Score a Touchdown

There has been no player more controversial than Martellus Bennett of late. After one of the messiest breakups you'll see in sports when he was released by Green Bay, he was welcomed back to New England with open arms. While many people now hate Bennett for his actions (and have always hated New England), you know the Patriots are going to want to use him to make a statement in Week 11. Expect Bennett to look extremely healthy when he's celebrating in the end zone.

2. The Pats' Defense Will Keep Oakland Below 20 Points

New England's offense has clearly been carrying this team over the course of the season, but the D hasn't been as bad as you think. Over their five-game win streak, the Patriots have given up an average of just 13.4 points per game, a number that would be best in the NFL if maintained throughout the season. Oakland hasn't exactly been lighting teams up on the scoreboard over that same period. Don't expect that to change heading into Week 11.

1. Tom Brady Will Eclipse 400 Yards

Stop me if you've heard this one before-- Tom Brady is really, really good. People wonder when the GOAT is going to slow down, but it's surely not going to be against a defense that is 22nd in passing yards allowed per game. TB12 has managed to beat opponents while only throwing for 300+ yards once over his last four games. Not this time. Brady is going to put on an absolute show and make the Raiders' secondary regret traveling south of the border.
