The Ball family has constantly been in the headlines as of late, but it's typically been for ludicrous proclamations or some other kind of outlandish activity.
It's hardly ever been because of anything serious, but that's all changed now.
Reports came out Tuesday afternoon that the second son of the Ball family triple threat, LiAngelo, and a couple of his teammates at UCLA, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were arrested in China on allegations of shoplifting.

Ball was set to embark on his freshman year at UCLA this season, but we'll have to wait and see as to what degree this arrest will impede upon that.
At any rate, this is certainly not a good look for LiAngelo. He is now representing UCLA and on a trip to China for him and a couple of teammates to get arrested lacks a tremendous amount of discipline and leadership.
More on this to come soon, but what'll be even more interesting is to hear what LaVar has to say about all of this.
