Here we go, folks.
The San Francisco 49ers may be 0-5 this season, playing down to low expectations, but that doesn't mean there isn't something to learn. Finally, it appears the team has had enough of Brian Hoyer, and would like to get a read on another key member of the roster.
After a terrible start to the game, including an interception, rookie QB C.J. Beathard was seen warming up on the sideline.
And now, it sounds like the Niners are ready to make the call and get Hoyer out from under center for the time being.

Beathard is coming in for the 49ers midway through the seco, getting his first real taste of NFL football against the Redskins.
Let's see how the kid does.
