The Yankees just had an amazing comeback from being down 2-0 against the Indians and are now gearing up for the ALCS.
And with the series beginning on Friday, the Yanks announced that Masahiro Tanaka will start Game 1.

Game 1: Keuchel vs. Tanaka
Game 2: Verlander vs. Severino
Game 3: TBA vs. Sabathia
For Game 2, Luis Severino will get the nod, while C.C. Sabathia will go for Game 3 and Sonny Gray gets the nod for Game 4.
This is a smart move by the Yankees.
Tanaka pitched their best game during the ALDS. He pitched seven shutout innings, gave up just three hits and struck out seven.
Of course, you always want to steal a game on the road during the postseason and Tanaka will give the Yanks the best chance to do that. It could also be a tone setter for the series.
This will be a huge game and Tanaka needs to take advantage of the opportunity.
