With just a week left to go until the 2017-18 NBA season tips off, the reigning champions have taken some shots at a Western Conference rival.
According to ESPN's Zach Lowe, the Warriors have no concern with their ability to guard Russell Westbrook and consider his style of play to be "easy to defend," going as far as to call it a "piece of cake."
That will definitely sit well with the reigning league MVP.
Westbrook averaged 27.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 9.5 assists in four match-ups against the Warriors, though he struggled from the field, hitting just 30-of-80 field goals in the four games.
The acquisition of Paul George and Carmelo Anthony make the Warriors-Thunder rivalry all the more interesting and the Warriors are kicking things off early with their shots at Westbrook.

The Warriors and Thunder won't meet until November 22nd but by then I'm sure both sides will have exchanged a few more jabs over social media.
