While the postseason rages on, we're also nearing awards season across Major League Baseball.

And on Monday, the MLB got things started by announcing the finalists for the Hank Aaron Award. Every team has a nominee, of course, and here's who's repping your squad.

The award ultimately goes to the best hitter in each league, and is voted on by fans and media.

I'll predict Aaron Judge in the AL and Giancarlo Stanton in the NL earn this vaunted honor. It must be tough to go against the amazing home run numbers they put up this season. Of course, there are many other deserving players across the league who must be honored to be finalists, which basically equates to "Team Offensive MVP".

Plenty of surprising names on the list, too. Logan Morrison hit 38 home runs for the Rays and Jose Ramirez put a breakout year for the Indians, but who saw that coming when the season kicked off? In the NL, Travis Shaw had a great first season in Milwaukee and Ryan Zimmerman had a career resurgence in Washington, both earning well-deserved nominations.

Last year's winners were David Ortiz, in his final season, and Cubs slugger Kris Bryant. We should find out the winners during the World Series.
