The Washington Nationals' Twitter account sent major shade towards the Chicago Cubs after their 6-3 Game Two victory.
Nationals fans even joined in on the fun, but this time in person.
One Nationals fan in particular made a parody Cubs "W" flag, but instead of the "W," he replaced it with a giant "L."
Actually buying this flag and bringing it to the game is a ridiculous and hilarious move pic.twitter.com/rDPj5ZfxYB— Cespedes Family BBQ (@CespedesBBQ) October 8, 2017
You have to admire the determination to buy or make this flag and bring it to the game with you, as you never know what the result of the game might be.
Cubs fans have got to be seething at this, as their "W" flags were confiscated by stadium security when entering Nationals Park. However, "L" flags were more than welcome.
One thing is for certain: the savagery from both the Nationals and Cubs will not cease to persist for the remainder of this NLDS series.
