Want to know just how high the stakes are in the MLB Playoffs?
Just ask Toronto Blue Jays hurler Marcus Stroman, who had pointed words for Drew Pomeranz and the Red Sox after they found themselves in an early hole in Game 2 of the ALDS in Houston.
Stroman, of course, doesn't have a leg to stand on here.
when you have a 4.4 career ERA in the postseason you got to flaunt it pic.twitter.com/xFDQsIZpBl— Mr String Gianella (@MikeGianella) October 6, 2017
In five career playoff starts, Stroman has allowed 15 earned runs in 32 innings, good for a win, a loss, and three no-decisions. Is that a terrible CV? Well, it's not the worst.
But it also isn't the kind of track record that entitles him to take potshots at a real-live playoff pitcher while he sits at home on a recliner.
But hey! You do you, man.
