It's been a little over six months since Tom Crean has coached basketball at the collegiate level and many are wondering where he could land if he decides to coach again.

The start of the 2017-2018 season is right around the corner and someone made a very interesting, but random edit to Crean's Wikipedia page. The edit said that Crean is the college basketball coach for Clemson University.

From the looks of it that screenshot was taken last night and the edit is no longer on Crean's Wikipedia page. Out of all the pages to edit, why this one? Seems a little out of blue.

This isn't the first time Crean's wiki page fell victim to hackers.

Crean spent nine seasons with the Hoosiers, turning them back into one of the premier college basketball programs in the country. After a disappointing 2016-2017 season, the Hoosiers missed out on the NCAA tournament, and he was fired. Given his success and coaching experience, it's been a surprise that Crean hasn't been picked up for a coaching job.

It may just be a random edit, but a move to Clemson would make sense for Crean. The Tigers haven't made the NCAA tournament under head coach Bead Brownell since 2010. Bringing in a coach like Crean to a highly regarded school in the SEC would be huge for Clemson.

But stay calm Clemson fans, and don't get too excited. Anyone can go on an edit a Wikipedia page and this rumor really has no backing as for now.
