The Cleveland Browns didn't have any expectations this season, but they bolstered their offensive line this offseason which should make them more competitive in the trenches.

Their big addition was right guard Kevin Zeitler, and after just one week in a Browns uniform, he's already in a cast.

Zeitler suffered a right thumb injury on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers and he underwent a procedure, the team said Wednesday. The big man was seen with a cast on his right arm almost up to his elbow.

The Browns hope he'll return to practice on Thursday or Friday, but if he's out this Sunday against the Ravens, guard Spencer Drango would seemingly be the next man up.

Cleveland signed Zeitler to a five-year, $60 million deal this offseason, making him the highest-paid guard in the NFL history. He's certainly proven his value repeatedly over the years, but in true Cleveland fashion, he didn't make it long with this big contract before being dinged up.
