Huge news for the LSU Tigers.
The basketball program is about to get a huge boost in 2018.
Roselle, NJ's own Naz Reid will commit to LSU for the 2018-19 season.
This is a huge deal as LSU continues to hit on big time prospects. Two years ago, LSU recruited Ben Simmons, who at the time was considered the biggest prospect out of high school since LeBron James.
While Reid is not quite Simmons at this level, he is the 18th-ranked overall prospect and the sixth-ranked power forward.
Great pickup for Will Wade and LSU with Naz Reid.— Adam Zagoria (@AdamZagoria) September 12, 2017
Reid will be paired with another top-100 prospect, Ja'Vonte Smart, in 2018, which looks like trouble for the SEC.
Will Wade has done an excellent job since taking over at LSU as he has snagged three top-35 recruits in the process.
LSU is certainly on to something.
