Summer isn't typically the season for huge college basketball news, but Marvin Bagley's decision to reclassify and enroll at Duke University this season sent shockwaves throughout the nation.

And now, we've got another massive update to share with fans.

Bagley, the No. 2 in the 2017 class, was officially certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center to play in the upcoming season on Friday, making one Mike Krzyzewski very happy.

"We are thrilled for Marvin and the Bagley family," said Coach K in a press release. "Their organization and efficiency were key to the successful conclusion of the certification process, as were the efforts of our Duke Athletics administration."

Bagley, a 6-11, 220-pound power forward, joins fellow five star recruits Trevon Duval, Wendell Carter and Gary Trent Jr. on a Blue Devils squad that will be a surefire contender for multiple titles this season.

Beyond that, the long, lanky forward is a likely candidate to go first overall in next year's NBA draft.

We'll get our first glimpse of Bagley as a Blue Devil when Midnight Madness arrives on Oct. 20.
