After the blockbuster lawsuit against EA Sports for using the names and likenesses of college athletes in their widely popular video games was finally settled, and EA announced that they would no longer make college sports video games, it seemed like the end of an era.

However, Sony just released a cryptic ad Friday night that may prove otherwise:

There's no word on what the commercial is actually for yet. For all we know, this could just be some massive troll and we're all just getting excited for nothing.

But there's NO WAY that can be a commercial for anything else besides a brand new NCAA Football game. You don't juxtapose Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh with control buttons just for fun.

The vague ad seems to be doing its job, with people already pledging money to the brand:

Sony definitely does not need to worry about there being a market for their potential new game. They just need to release it ASAP.
